4 interviewing styles
1)The off camera interview
The subject being filmed is talking to the interviewee of stage and not directly addressing the camera. This creates naturalism and an observational view on the subject, allowing consumers to focus more on the interviewees expressionism and emotion.
2)The direct address interview
This technique is when the subject breaks the fourth wall and directly addresses the audience by making eye contact with the camera. The technique is typically used when vlogging which is used to establish a close relationship between the producer and the consumer in the way that it feels more personal as it's like the vlogger is talking directly to the audience.
3)The hosted conversation
The hosted conversation style is when the interviewee and the interviewer are in the camera allowing the audience to not only listen but to observe the observation of not only the subject but the interviewer and how they respond to what is being told to them. This technique allows the interview to feel more dynamic and open.
4)The cinematic approach (off-camera approach)
This technique allows the interview and interviewee to be off camera while speaking as their voices will be run over other footage relating to the given topic. This allows views to visually learn and helps immerse an audience.
