I looked in to advertising as it is important to know how to attract to your target audience as well as how you will distribute it and where. This can vary depending on age, gender and demographic. The list below will tell you some of the ways to target them.

Film festivals:

this is a great way to promote your production as it will be shown round the world and attract a wider audience globally.

A Gripping trailer:

This can be posted anywhere and gives an insight into the narrative of the horror production. This will  encourages an audience to go see your film.

Online film sites:

Try posting on online film viewing sites so that your film can become more accessible and can reach a wider audience.   

Social Networking:

Post on social media platforms like YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram or Snap chat.

Create a website:

This will allow your audience to go and find more out about your film.

Using posters and billboards: 

This is less commonly used as most advertising is now online but is still used in some popular, busy city environments and  can be useful as it's an easier way for people to view your production in the way that they don't have to go searching the internet for hours.
